Today in 6A & 6B
ENGLISH: Today was testing day for Unit 1 vocabulary and grammar. On Monday we start Unit 2.
RELIGION: Also test day! a short quiz, open book to wrap up Session 2.
AR read/math: Students had a giant block of time to catch up on missed assignments and make strides toward their AR goals.
SOCIAL STUDIES: Today we began our activity for the next several days. Students were each assigned a role as a stakeholder in the controversial construction of a new football stadium. They are tasked with researching and writing a persuasive speech that they will present to the class in a mock "town hall" discussion Monday. This statement is meant to be no more than 2 minutes long yet still be persuasive enough to sway hearts and minds. This is their only homework for this weekend.
MATH Both classes had time to work on Accelerated Math
SCIENCE corrected previous nights homework
