  • RELIGION: Advent Corporal Works of Mercy ACTION PLAN PRESENTATIONS given by groups
  • CHRISTMAS PAGEANT PRACTICE: truly angelic
  • MORE ENGLISH: students were given a full hours to type their STEP 6 into 3 Body Paragraphs.

  • ENGLISH: class corrected Ch.2 Review; teacher handed out STEPS ESSAY OUTLINE for A Christmas Carol and started from the beginning with the class. End of class included viewing an exemplary essay from a previous student.

  • SOCIAL STUDIES: Hammurabi's Code video clip and Mr. Nicky song.
6A HOMEWORK:
  • ENGLISH:In STEP 6----complete the GS and 3 SD's for the Bing and Bang body paragraphs. Remember to write ABSTRACT GS's and CONCRETE SD's. Also, don't forget to note page numbers for each SD.

TODAY IN 6A:
  • ENGLISH: today the students cleared 1st Trimester papers from their expandables; then class began a Grammar for Writing Ch.2 Review 2.1: Ex.1 & 2, 2.2: Ex.2 & 3; 2.3: Ex 1 & 2; 2.4 Ex.2, and 2.5:Ex.1. Do #'s 1-5 only and follow exact instructions.

  • PE
  • LITERATURE: Mrs. Copeland re-read "Zlateh the Goat" to the class and they took an openbook assessment on Internal vs. External Conflicts
  • CHRISTMAS PAGEANT: done in one!
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: class watched Mesopotamia video and completed guide; afterwards, students worked in partners to complete Sumerian paragraph exercise

  • MATH (8:00 class ) took notes on Exponents (9:00 class) took notes on Simplifying Fractions
  • LITERATURE: class discussed & edited answers to "Zlateh the Goat" responses
  • SPANISH
  • RELIGION: students worked in Advent Corporal Works of Mercy Groups
  • CHRISTMAS PAGEANT PRACTICE: nailed it on the first try!!
