  • ENGLISH: students worked on precise wording--2.5 Ex.1 p.44 (
  • MATH (8:00 class) reviewed HW handed back chp 1 Test (9:00 class) corrected HW, took chp 2 Quiz
  • ROSARY GROUPS: students worked in groups to do research ONLY and created a group document recording their collective findings
  • JUMP ROPE FOR HEART
  • RELIGION: students accessed the Catholic Bible online to summarize the 5 events of the Joyful Mysteries of the rosary
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: students used their textbooks to complete openbook quizzes for Ch.2, L.1 & L.2 (on Google Classroom)
  • SCIENCE watched volcano clip, worked in our Groups on Volcano Project

  • MATH (8:00 class) reviewed HW, took notes on Using Number sense to solve equations (9:00 class) corrected previous nights HW worked on problems from WS
  • MUSIC
  • SPANISH
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: with the teacher, the class read Ch.2, S.2 Cities and Civilizations (leftover time was for starting HW)
  • SCIENCE corrected previous nights HW watched slide show of previous Volcano projects
  • PEP RALLY

  • ENGLISH: Audio-intro to Ch.4 Vocabulary Workshop; online SMARTBOARD review with class; Ch 2 Review---notes and analyzing sentences 
  • MATH (8:00 class) took notes on chp 2 Evaluating and writing Algebraic expressions (9:00 class) worked on adding and subtracting with Variables
  • GEM: class discussion and group notes on "Friendly" GEM, then students voted
  • LITERATURE: AR Time
  • SPANISH
  • RELIGION: The History of the Rosary video; students were divided into Rosary Groups for research & presentations
  • CH 2 THE BEGINNING OF CIVILIZATION: video clip on the link between water and civilization; adaptation, modification, and domestication
  • SCIENCE Talked about Volcano project

6A HOMEWORK: 
  • ENGLISH: do pp.55-56 "Choosing the Right Word" in Vocabulary Workshop
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: find 1 picture (printed or hand drawn) to represent each of the Shared Features of Civilization; there should be 7 pictures total
