  • LITERATURE: students worked with partners to complete A Long Walk to Water packets
  • RELIGION: students completed study guides and worked on The Four Marks of the Church presentation
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: Ch.8, L.1 & L.2 quizzes; time to begin Buddha pics (applying symbolism)
  • SCIENCE

6A HOMEWORK:

  • ENGLISH: study for U.12 Vocab Test

  • ENGLISH: students submitted OSS Nature Poems; worked on & corrected "Synonyms & Antonyms"; Compound Subjects and Agreement 10.3 pp.205-06 (Ex.1) and 10.4 pp.207-08 (Ex.1 & 2)
  • MATH ( 8:00 class) took notes on percents and decimals
  • MUSIC
  • SPANISH
  • RELIGION: ART PRINT--Paul's Preaching by Raphael and p.242 "Paul Speaks of Love and Unity"; rest of class spent working on The Four Marks of the Church slideshow
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: class read Ch.8, L.2 The Beliefs of Buddhism/notes and started homework
  • SCIENCE went over what will be on tomorrows open note test

6A & 6B HOMEWORK:

  • ENGLISH: finish U.12 "Completing the Sentence"; complete GC assignment and submit

  • MATH (8:00 class) took notes on Percentages (9:00 class) took notes on angles
  • PE
  • LITERATURE: students worked on A Long Walk to Water chapter reviews
  • RELIGION: class read S.14 The Marks of the Church pp.82-85; notes and discussion on Nicene Creed (intro to Slideshow Assignment)

  • ENGLISH: intro to U.12 Vocab; The Nature Poem--visualize, free write, learn format w/sample, and begin prewriting
  • MATH (8:00 class) worked on AR Math (9:00 class) began chp 7 Lines and planes
  • LITERATURE: class FINISHED A Long Walk to Water and took individual AR Tests (3pt book) 
  • RELIGION: S.14 Marks of the Church--notes & investigation of the FOUR MARKS OF THE CHURCH
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: Intro to Buddhism video and notes; discussion on symbolism in art that serves to identify icons 
  • SCIENCE finished worksheets

6A & 6B HOMEWORK:
  • ENGLISH: complete U.12 "Choosing the Right Word"; finish and submit Final Draft of Nature Poem to Google Classroom AND bring a hard copy to submit to teacher
