  • WEEKLY MASS with Fr. Vincent
  • RAJAN'S PRESENTATION: The Indian Festival of Lights
  • SSJ FAMILIES: Met for the 1st time! 
  • PE
  • AR TIM: students were given 45 minutes to advance their AR Reading/Math points
  • VOCABULARY: U.1-3 Review Test
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: teacher read "Examining Archaeology" with the students and they responded to critical thinking questions on Google Classroom
  • SCIENCE

6A HOMEWORK: 
FOR TOMORROW'S FIELD TRIP---
  • ·         eat a substantial breakfast (as there is no “snack break”)
  • ·         Bring a sack lunch w/water (You need to cxl any Choice Lunch orders)
  • ·         Wear their REGULAR school uniform.
  • ·         Get a good night’s sleep 
And no, you do not need to bring your backpack or Chromebooks to school tomorrow.

  • ENGLISH: students took U.1, U.2, and U.3 online vocab tests (3x each!) and recorded their high scores; then, class began working on Ch.2 Review (see Google Classroom for details)
  • MATH (8:00 class) took chp 1 Test (9:00 class) took notes on solving Equations by Adding or Subtracting
  • MUSIC
  • SPANISH
  • RELIGION: meditational prayer & journaling "Keeping Relationships Healthy" (Genesis 3:15) followed by class discussion
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: teacher read "Examining Sources" about Cultural Dating, Relative & Absolute Dating; and Scientific Dating
  • SCIENCE Drew Colmbian Mammoth

  • MATH (8:00 class) went over chapter review for test tomorrow (9:00 class) took notes on using Number sense to solve problems

  • LITERATURE: corrected and discussed HW--Formal vs. Informal Tone & Fact vs. Opinion

  • ENGLISH: class read p.42 on the Sapporo Snow Festivals of Japan & collectively worked through the comprehension questions---discussing why each choice was the best choice; rest of class used for CAVE PAINTING
  • MATH
  • LITERATURE: mini-lesson on Formal/Informal Tone and Fact vs. Opinion (nice observations Jameson!); class re-read "The Lady and the Spider" by Robert Fulghum and then worked in partners to find examples of the concepts within the text
  • SPANISH
  • RELIGION: meditational prayer--The Power of Words (Psalm 33:6). Words create or destroy...students journaled and shared ideas
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: last chance----using Chromebooks for research and finishing Cave Art
  • SCIENCE
