WORDINESS IS NOT HELPING ANYONE!!!
TODAY IN 6A:
  • AR Reading: 20 minutes
  • ENGLISH: students took 3 online Vocabulary Workshop review quizzes for highest score; then completed & corrected "Synonyms & Antonyms"; notes on Dependent vs. Independent Clauses; 2.3 Eliminating Extra Words p.37
  • MATH 8:00 class learned about Integers, 9:00 class learned about adding them
  • MUSIC 
  • SPANISH
  • RELIGION: p.231 "God Chooses Noah" and ART PRINT--Building Noah's Ark; then, students worked with partners to look up given scriptures and summarize for "Words of Wisdom"
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: students were given a Stone Age Webquest to begin their Digital Notebooks and record their findings
  • SCIENCE read pages 42-51 discussed earthquakes
6A HOMEWORK: 
  • ENGLISH: complete "Flipped Homework" on Dependent & Independent Clauses; QUIZ TOMORROW :)
  • RELIGION: complete the TRUST acrostic poem (Google it!) on Why we should trust Jesus to lead us to God. Use of illustrations & colored pencils is encouraged
  • MATH (8:00 class) pg 36 1-28    (9:00 class) pg 42 1-24 
  • SCIENCE pg 51 1-3
