TODAY IN 6A:
  • ENGLISH: class read p.42 on the Sapporo Snow Festivals of Japan & collectively worked through the comprehension questions---discussing why each choice was the best choice; rest of class used for CAVE PAINTING
  • MATH
  • LITERATURE: mini-lesson on Formal/Informal Tone and Fact vs. Opinion (nice observations Jameson!); class re-read "The Lady and the Spider" by Robert Fulghum and then worked in partners to find examples of the concepts within the text
  • SPANISH
  • RELIGION: meditational prayer--The Power of Words (Psalm 33:6). Words create or destroy...students journaled and shared ideas
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: last chance----using Chromebooks for research and finishing Cave Art
  • SCIENCE
6A HOMEWORK:
  • LITERATURE: finish the handout on Formal/Informal Tone and Fact vs. Opinion (from today's class)
