TODAY IN 6A:

  • ENGLISH: Audio-intro to Ch.4 Vocabulary Workshop; online SMARTBOARD review with class; Ch 2 Review---notes and analyzing sentences 
  • MATH (8:00 class) took notes on chp 2 Evaluating and writing Algebraic expressions (9:00 class) worked on adding and subtracting with Variables
  • GEM: class discussion and group notes on "Friendly" GEM, then students voted
  • LITERATURE: AR Time
  • SPANISH
  • RELIGION: The History of the Rosary video; students were divided into Rosary Groups for research & presentations
  • CH 2 THE BEGINNING OF CIVILIZATION: video clip on the link between water and civilization; adaptation, modification, and domestication
  • SCIENCE Talked about Volcano project

6A HOMEWORK: 
  • ENGLISH: do pp.55-56 "Choosing the Right Word" in Vocabulary Workshop
  • SOCIAL STUDIES: find 1 picture (printed or hand drawn) to represent each of the Shared Features of Civilization; there should be 7 pictures total 
  • MATH (8:00 class) pg 73 1-25  (9:00 class) WS 2-1 & 2-3
